Talk:Main Page

From Scanime - The Scandinavian Anime and Manga Encyclopedia

  1. First, a question, should we talk to each other in English or our native languages (or some kind of mix lol)?
  2. I have a logo proposal: maybe an image of Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Faroe Islands and with some stylish text below saying "Scanime"? Maybe.
  3. I've added us to WikiIndex. – Smiddle 17:20, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
  1. I was thinking about a scandi-mix. That would be the purpose of a multilingual community site with similar languages, I guess. Although I must confess that most Icelanders prefer english over danish.
  2. I was thinking about a logo with Vicky. (You know, the anime series that was shown here ages ago about a little viking.) That would combine Anime and Scandinavia.
  3. Great, thanks! - Takeshi 23:51, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Did you know..." and "On this day..."

Should we have some of those? – Smiddle 13:26, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

We could add a "Did you know..." box once we have more information on the page. But since I think that the wiki will focus more on the stories themselves than the real world stuff around them, an "On this day..." section might not fit that well. Takeshi 14:23, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
I was thinking of using the choose tag to generate random facts for the did you know. – Smiddle 14:28, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
That looks like a good idea! Takeshi 15:15, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Frontpages

I was thinking maybe we should have also frontpages for each language to show, for example, new articles or top articles in that specific language. It could look like this. What do you think about that? Takeshi 15:48, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Great, but should we have different did you know's? – Smiddle 16:10, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
I don't know. Maybe not. Takeshi 16:17, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
